Leo Mancini Design Blog http://leomancinidesign.com/ A design blog, by Leo Mancini. en-us http://leomancinidesign.com/xml.php PHP/5.2.6 [insert witty post title here] http://leomancinidesign.com/post:witty Oh, hi! Hello there. Welcome to the "latest and greatest" version of leomancinidesign.com. It's long overdue, but I promise, it's worth it. This iteration of the site definitely has the most content of them all, featuring an art section, chock-full of, well... art. Lots of stuff in there: design work, graphics, drawings, mixed media pieces, photography, and a little code lab (several experimental programming projects).

Also, there's the the boring stu... I mean... client work! Yes, plenty of that, too. Peruse at your leisure. And, if you like what you see, contact me and maybe we can work something out for you.

There's a ton of new stuff under the hood as well. If you like this sort of thing, there's a totally revamped database that feeds all the content into the layout. All accessible by a custom control panel. Loads o' PHP grabs all the stuff from that MySQL database and compiles it into what you see right now. jQuery handles the rest: the page switching, the slider in the art section, the client chooser, etc. Throw in the HTML/CSS, and voila: leomancinidesign.com.

And there you go. Introduction blog post... check. In the future, in this section will contain my writing, poems, rants, and rambling about design, philosophy, spirituality, general observations — pretty much anything that comes to my mind. Expect some weird stuff, too: I've begun to dream in verse. Very strange phenomenon.

Anyways, I think that's enough writing for a intro post. Enjoy the site!

     Namaste. December 4th, 2009
