We learn from relationships, but some lessons take more courage than others to accept and absorb.
It only takes one moment for hope to be rekindled, just as it takes a moment for it to be snuffed out. This is a fictional tale of Anna, whose hope is rekindled by a moment, and an event that followed that.
A particular day is not needed for being compassionate. But nowadays, the world feels so eager to look for war, that the voice of kindness seems overthrown, it seems forgotten. I don’t even mean our voices, even the voice of the written word feels drowned. Maybe a thousand voices shouting can make the #1000VoicesForCompassion drown out the one shouting for the opposite. I’m happy to be one such voice.
Thoughts on the book, “A Secret Safe to Tell”, a small book that spreads not just awareness, but calls for compassion in a situation where it is very much necessary.
