After an exhilarating previous week, my gratitude this time is small but meaningful.
- In a week where I’ve been ill and tired more often than not, I’m grateful that I had the strength to keep up with life. Especially because I have been trying not to apply for leave again.
- This week brought one book, but it was quite an entertaining one. The book was about a gorilla’s life from a gorilla’s point of view, and based on a true story.
Whether it is because of the illness, or because of something else, this past week I was overthinking things and worrying about things that may never come true. Negative thoughts don’t bring a positive life, so it just added to the stress. I thought a positive quote might be apt for such a mood.
“Be strong because things will get better. It may be stormy now but it doesn’t rain forever.”
I love this idea of noting/recollecting what I’m happy/grateful for each week.
