No quitting!
You’ve fallen down,
The only way is up;
Say no to giving up,
Refuse to stand down.
Take a new direction,
A new breeze to soar,
Life is but a mystery,
A new clue in store.
Forget the wounds,
It’s not easy I know,
But it’s just one step,
Still so far left to go.
Say no to quitting,
Quitting on your life,
Quit instead on past,
And say no to strife.
As part of our resolution to write more poetry in 2018, Reema and I have started this weekly prompt we’ve decided to call as Wednesday Verses. Each Wednesday, we’ll be writing a poem based on the prompt of the week, and sharing a linky. We invite you all to join us with your own poems on the prompt. Write on your blogs, and link up with #WednesdayVerses. We are happy to have you rhyme with us. Welcome!
Prompt #20 is “No”.
Please link up only if you’ve written a poem for the prompt!

Uplifting poem Vinay! It’s easy to get bogged down by the past and much harder to get back up but the answer in the end, is to not quit.
(Sanch @ Sanch Writes recently posted… No means no)
I hope that that is the answer, Sanch. 🙂
Nice one vinay! The most i could connect to were these lines…
“Say no to quitting, quitting on your life, quit instead on the past”
There is no hope left in life to move forward if we quit on our present!
Very true, but at times, life does make me want to quit on the present, Keerthi.
