Woven hope…
Averse to a verse,
I donβt want to be,
So I find a rhyme,
Happiness there,
In rhythm I share,
A moment of time.
Woven with ink,
A web of my love,
Words that speak,
A rainbow of hope,
When once again,
All seemed bleak.

Yes, one can imerse oneself in poetry or writing and know that you can create a completely different world there for yourself.
I have been there, and found that wonderful world often, Old Egg. π Thank you.

Amen to that, Rommy. π
Beautiful! Hope is a tricky emotion it clings to us when we are unassuming and lost deep in thought.

Hope is very tricky, yes. Difficult to find at times too, Sanaa.
This was delightful….poetry and life interwoven. It is as it should be!

So lovely to see you, Leo. I hope you’ve been well. Lovely to read you again, and to appreciate that “rainbow of hope.”

Been a bit frantic, Sherry, but otherwise okay. Hope to return to cooking verse for the Pantry more often. π Glad you liked my rainbow.
Words should work to color the bleak… thank you

This is a lovely rhyme especially since it ends in hope, though truly sometimes all seems bleak. Enjoyed this. Good write.
Thank you, Myrna. π Yes. At times, the bleakness overwhelms too much.
