This is my 9th attempt at the month-long blogging challenge, Blogging from A to Z. I’ve completed it 5 times so far. My theme this year is 7 Sentence Fiction, and the word I’m using for C is Childhood.
Childhood
“It will be okay, Amit,” said Naina, taking her husband’s hand.
In front of them, their son looked at his new classroom pensively.
“Hi, I am Sana,” said a girl, suddenly at Atul’s side.
“Atul,” he introduced himself, returning her warm smile.
As the parents watched, the two of them walked toward two empty seats at the back.
Amit laughed, turning to look at his wife.
“Childhood,” he said, shaking his head and remembering how she had taken his hand the same way thirty years back.
