This story titled, “Finding Fairy Land” is a 100 Word Fiction for #FridayFictioneers inspired by a photograph clicked by Sarah Potter.
Finding Fairy Land
“The entrance to fairyland is a pair of grey shoes,” reported the Scout to the Webmaster.
“Are you sure? They’ve deceived us before.”
“Yes. The fairy has sprinkled dust, so it looks old, unused and ordinary. But I saw her appear through it thrice.”
The old Hourglass spider smiled.
“Cover it with webs. Let’s trap her tonight,” he ordered.
Soon, the old shoes were webbed shut.
A few moments later, the fairy scout appeared.
“Only enemies needed that one unsealed entrance. And only webs would have stopped them. Such helpful spiders!” she laughed, disappearing one last time from the closet.

A sense of positive thoughts peeping through these words Vinay! Even in the plan of spiders to trap her, the idea of fairy scout seeing it as an helping act by spiders in securing the entrance from enemies is refreshing thought! Nicely written!
A very positive interpretation to my story, Keerthi. Thank you. 🙂
