A post for Skywatch Friday today, inspired by friends who are also sharing with the meme.
Acceptance
the clouds had gathered,
a meeting in grey,
perhaps an omen today;
a doubt that lingered,
it is dissipating now,
and an end seems near;
then came a parting,
that ray of brightness,
in the color of my sky…
acceptance.

Hope. Silver linings. Cloudy to clarity. I can associate all these meanings to this poem. Not sure if that’s what you meant though.

Cloudy to clarity, yes. Not yet sure of the other two meanings, Ishi. But maybe in a way. Yes.
Beautiful words; glad to see an end to the doubt is nearing — even in the form of acceptance.

Yes. Though I wish otherwise, I think the only end to this would be acceptance. Glad you liked the poem, Babby.
Excellent poem to accompany the photo. Well done!
Thank you, Peter.
Acceptance is not easy to come by, but it does bring peace.
I agree. It does bring peace. 🙂 Thank you, Apeksha.
That wonderful moment when blue shows up in the sky again – too many grey skies lately.
Not blue yet. 🙂 But might be soon. Thank you, Alana.
Beautiful picture and beautiful thoughts.

Thank you, Deepa.
A simple poem with strong words depicting that thing can change soon and probably a hint of a miracle as well…
That’s what the poem made me think. Nicely done, Vinay.

Glad you felt so, and yes, maybe a tiny hint of a miracle. 🙂 thank you, Rohan.
Wonderfully captured in words! At times I wonder that skies do reflect the state of mind. And the beauty is for every pair of eyes the reflection is different!
Read and re-read… just to soak myself in the luxury of thoughts!

Yes. Even otherwise, the sky is a very wonderful sight to observe. 🙂 Glad you liked the poem and felt it worthy to re-read too, Anagha.
