Skywatching – The Changing Colors of a Monsoon Sky

Skywatching today, inspired by friends who are also sharing with #SkywatchFriday.

Nature is beautiful. I think it provides a lot of inspiration if the heart is eager enough to see it. Though I stay in a concrete forest, I admire the beauty of nature around me.

Skywatching is interesting.

I only came to know of Skywatch Friday very recently. But I love to watch the sky. It is the monsoon season here, and the colors change so quickly. The sky was clear and blue in the afternoon, but at five in the evening, the dark clouds suddenly rolled in, making it grey. It was still beautiful. It will become clear and blue again soon, maybe in the morning.

Skywatching Friday

It’s kind of like life, I think. At one moment, our mood is clear and happy, then something triggers the change, and we become gloomy. We try to fight it, but that’s how it is. It is important for us to remember that the gloom, like the grey clouds, is temporary. It will blow over, and the happiness will return.

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. So glad to see you joining in for #SkywatchFriday, Vinay! Lovely sky shot too. I love my skywatching moments from every place I travel to, and not just from the balcony of my apartment, where I capture most of my sky shots from! Feels very de-stressing and therapeutic! πŸ™‚

    • I rarely travel, but I find the sky magical most of the time, even if it’s from the same place each day. πŸ˜€

Glad you loved the sky shot, Esha. Nice to join SkywatchFriday too.
