First Impressions
#100DaysOfBlogging Day 9
“Our first impression is our best impression, Chloe,” said Toby, as we sat near the door, waiting for them to come in.
We had heard their voices, and hurried to the door so they’d see us first. When they came, her eyes went straight to us. The others began to talk, each trying to make their voice heard, but we just said hi. Once. That was enough.
Half an hour later, we were going back with them. They were twins; as were we.
I was looking out the window while the boy held me tight. He was laughing.
“What’d I tell you, sis?” Toby woofed happily, as she scratched his ear while he sat on her lap.
From 23rd September, exactly 100 days are left in the year, the idea is to write on each of these days. A few other friends chose their own themes. I thought I’d collaborate with Aniesha bon on the challenge. We’re choosing topics on alternate days, and each day, we’re writing on the same topic too. She chose the topic FIRST IMPRESSION for Day 9.

This is just adorable. You really have a way of writing in a very simplistic manner but manage to bring it out with such a punch.

Glad that that end punch worked. 🙂 Thank you, Shalini, for the kind words of appreciation.
I’m behind on my reading. Now I have yours to catch up on too. Will soon.
I was MIA these days. But now I’m back from my vacation and I intend to read all the posts.
And wow! That’s such an adorable tale! 🙂
