For the Love of Coffee…
#100DaysOfBlogging Day 8
I had recently done a quotes challenge on Facebook, where I had shared quotes I love for a week. I find some quotes to be inspiring when the mood is low, or just relatable to what I feel. Maybe thatβs why they say βBeen there, done that.β Recently, Tina Basu had tagged me to do a 3 day quote challenge on my blog.
The rules are simple.
- Post for three consecutive days
- Post one to three quotes each day
- Tag three blogger buddies each day to attempt the challenge.
I’m bending the first and last rules slightly. I’m going to post on alternate days, not consecutive. And I’m leaving the tag open for any blogger buddy to take it up.
To just get through the day at office, two cups of coffee (at the very least) is necessary. From someone who at one time detested coffee, the love for coffee has become more pronounced over the last decade. A sip of coffee is enough to cheer me up when I’m in a low mood. It’s like the coffee has a promise of warmth. And yes, most definitely, the world seems better after that. It also invokes memories of college days, where in the break between two classes, our group would go for a coffee at the campus canteen or the stall that had coffee.
What about you, my dear reader? Are you a coffee lover too?
From 23rd September, exactly 100 days are left in the year, the idea is to write on each of these days. A few other friends chose their own themes. I thought I’d collaborate with Aniesha bon on the challenge. We’re choosing topics on alternate days, and each day, we’re writing on the same topic too. I chose the topic COFFEE for Day 8.

heh!
I love coffee and tea! π
I could do with a cup of coffee right now! π
cupcakes (From Pins’ post) and coffee – delightful combo
(Pixie recently posted… Harvest Moon β 3 micro-fiction stories)
I like coffee and tea too, Pixie, but prefer the former to the latter. π Cupcakes, not a choice at office, unless I bring them myself. π
