A World I Admire
For a moment, I became a child again. No. I’m not being dramatic.
I remembered stood in the queue, waiting to buy a copy of the book.
When I got it in my hand, I jumped with excitement.
I felt the heart beat faster as I opened the package. I admire the cover for 9 and ¾ minutes.
I opened the book, and smelled the fragrance of its pages. It felt familiar.
Oh, how this world will always remain a part of my life.
To get the book on the day it released, that happiness doesn’t really have words.
Now to go back to a world, nineteen years later, though in truth, I had never left.
