It is Here…
When I saw it, it shone from far,
Unreachable, I thought that star,
But with each step, it felt more dear,
The dream I saw, it now feels near.
The world around, I did not forget,
But on that star, my eyes were set,
A purpose found, soon lost was fear,
The dream I saw, it now feels near.
A race to reach first, it had seemed,
Some went soon, yet for me it gleamed,
It was meant for me, that was clear,
The dream I saw, it now feels near.
To take the chance, the time is now,
Nourished the dream, with lots of love,
The words now shine, to me they near,
The dream I saw, it now feels here.

The hope of dreams being possible- lovely
Thank you, debi. I believe that they can be possible.
The refrain works like a tug on my reader’s heart. I’m watching with the speaking, feeling the dream come near and near and near… until it’s a reality. And that is wonderful!
Yes. 🙂 Reading it after, I felt that tug too. I liked the belief and the transition. Thanks very much, Magaly.
Love the words and the repetition! It isn’t about reaching there first, it’s just about us and our achievement. A perfect depiction! 😀
