It’s easy to find sadness each day, but to find a moment of happiness is difficult. Last year, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the 100 Days of Happiness challenge. This year, I am more determined to finish it — Counting down to 2016 with Happiness!
The Happiness of Hot Food on a Cold Day
100 Days of Happiness – Day 53
Diwali has not been a warm one this year. The rains lashed the city, and the temperatures dropped. It’s not as cold as it has been before at this time of the year, but it felt cold nonetheless. Grandma returned back to the native place yesterday, and we returned to the food we usually prepare, which was on the back burner of sorts because she doesn’t prefer that for some reason. On a rainy evening, nothing felt nicer than making bisibelebath, which is rice cooked with lentils and vegetables. It was yummy, and accompanied with crispy potato chips, which made it even better. It was so good that there were absolutely no leftovers either! Happy foodies!
Food was too good to wait to take a picture, so I’ve borrowed a picture from Wikimedia Commons instead!

So true! Warm food on a cold day is a delight in itself! 🙂
Absolutely! 🙂 I agree, Ilirian.
