It’s easy to find sadness each day, but to find a moment of happiness is difficult. Last year, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the 100 Days of Happiness challenge. This year, I am more determined to finish it — Counting down to 2016 with Happiness!
The Happiness of Pampering my Grandmother
100 Days of Happiness – Day 50
It had been a while since I visited my favorite pastry shop in the city. When it was decided that the office would close half day today, and the rain gods took a break from their work too, I stopped by the shop on my way back home. I’m not very flexible when it comes to pastries. I buy what is the most delicious even if it’s a little expensive according to my parents. However, my grandmother doesn’t eat a lot of cake because she doesn’t like eggs. So today, I took an eggless cake especially for her, since she’s going back to her native place soon. Happiness is… the smile on her face when I told her the cake had no egg, and seeing her finish the whole piece of cake too.
