100 Days of Happiness – Day 40

It’s easy to find sadness each day, but to find a moment of happiness is difficult. Last year, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the 100 Days of Happiness challenge. This year, I am more determined to finish it — Counting down to 2016 with Happiness!

The Happiness of a Rainbow

100 Days of Happiness – Day 40

I’m at times so lost in the world created by a wonderful book, that I forget the world around me might have magic too. Today, I was reading the Famous Five novels after a long time. I was happy imagining Kirrin Island and didn’t hear the rain falling outside till it had almost stopped. When I had to go out for purchasing some groceries, I saw a beautiful rainbow right over my house. It was the biggest one I’d seen in a while, and that got a smile! It is wonderful to know that it takes just a touch of nature to find happiness instantly!

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Nice home, dude! The joy of seven colors is something to cherish, always. I wish we could see more rainbows than we actually get to see.
