100 Days of Happiness – Day 37

It’s easy to find sadness each day, but to find a moment of happiness is difficult. Last year, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the 100 Days of Happiness challenge. This year, I am more determined to finish it β€” Counting down to 2016 with Happiness!

The Happiness of Wishing my Friend on her Birthday

100 Days of Happiness – Day 37

They say friendship is not about seeing each other or talking with each other every day. I think that is true, and it’s wonderful that that magic of friendship is not affected even after months of silence. I met my best friend even before college started, and our friendship has only grown stronger year after year. I felt happy that I could wish her on her birthday, and send her a gift too.

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

I love sending gifts to people I love and care about! πŸ™‚
It’s fun to see the delight on their faces when they get their gift.

Wish you friend a belated happy birthday from me as well! I’m sure she must’ve loved her gifts

    • She was away from her house for two days, so the courier gave up and sent it back. πŸ˜› Will have to send her once again, Pixie. Will pass on your regards to her!

  2. Nothing like a best friend and the joy of gifting on their birthday. The excitement starts pretty early and you just cannot control yourself, how much you try!
