100 Days of Happiness – Day 36

The Happiness of Giving a Gift

100 Days of Happiness – Day 36

My dad is quite old fashioned when it comes to a lot of things. I like that in some ways, but I thought it was about time he changed his mobile, which didn’t have enough memory space. He didn’t accept at first, of course, but I managed to convince him and I felt happy to gift him a simple phone – the Lenovo A2010 – today. We both went to the customer care center and got a new SIM card for him too. He likes it.

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Same with my dad. But thankfully his office has provided him with an iPhone. I convinced him to use WhatsApp and he has started using it!
