100 Days of Happiness – Day 29

It’s easy to find sadness each day, but to find a moment of happiness is difficult. Last year, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the 100 Days of Happiness challenge. This year, I am more determined to finish it — Counting down to 2016 with Happiness!

The Happiness of Peace, Yet Again

100 Days of Happiness – Day 29

I began this happy days challenge with a temple visit on an auspicious day. That post was about the happiness of prasadam as much as peace. When peace brings happiness with it, then it’s quite likely that that happiness will recur. And it did. And I’m glad that it did. It’s always wonderful to know that a place that gives you that peace of mind is there so close to where you work.

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. This looks totally different from the concept of a temple. I know temples in India are so different as chalk and cheese but this is a new kind of concept to me 🙂
