It’s easy to find sadness each day, but to find a moment of happiness is difficult. Last year, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the 100 Days of Happiness challenge. This year, I am more determined to finish it — Counting down to 2016 with Happiness!
The Happiness of watching FRIENDS on TV
100 Days of Happiness – Day 11
I’m kind of a couch potato on the weekends. I like to relax, watch some TV, lie back and not worry of the week gone by or week to come. I’ve possibly been that way even before. Of course, school days had the possibility of a game of cricket or football, so maybe not back then.
There aren’t a lot of shows that I watch on television. The weekends have the omnibus of shows that are aired during the week, so it’s always nice to play catch-up. I loved to watch the show Full House when it used to air. Weekends almost always have a Barclays Premier League game to enjoy. I re-watch Masterchef Australia sometimes. But ever since college days, I’ve enjoyed watching one show.
Happiness is watching five episodes of FRIENDS back to back. The show has been my favorite since long, and I like all the characters, be it the humorous Chandler or the bossy Monica or even the unnoticed owner of Café Perk – Gunther. It is fun, even though I know what is going to happen, having watched it umpteen times before.

Masterchef Australia and Friends, love to watch it any number of times. However, since the kids arrived haven’t been able to watch as much TV shows as I would have wanted to but still whenever I watch those, it’s so pleasing to the mind.
Ah! So we have some more things in common. FRIENDS and Masterchef. Nice to know, Sreedeep. 😀
