The Past
Week 28 – Thankful Tuesdays
I try as much as possible to stay in the present, but to acknowledge that I have reached this day, what and who I am, the friends I have, the family who supports me, I must thank the past, for it is through that I’ve reached here. Had I not failed at some steps, I wouldn’t have found myself on the path that has got me this job. Had I not read The Hound of the Baskervilles, I might not have found the love I have for reading novels. Had a few friends not been by my side then, I might not have had the chance to find a few best friends now. The past is something that I look at in a glance. It has got me here, but if I mull over it, give it more importance than needed, it’ll hold me back from whatever is happening in life now, and what might happen in the future. I’m thankful for what has been, but now I look at what is and what will be. Que sera sera! (but without the fatalistic undertone).

True. To let go is the key..
🙂
🙂 I guess so, Pooja.
Holding on to the past is not a good idea at all. All we should do is learn and grow from the experience 🙂
Absolutely, Shilpa. 🙂
