Favorite Spot in the City
Week 27 – Thankful Tuesdays
When I talked about my city in an earlier Thankful Tuesday post, I mentioned my gratitude for Church Street, where I, a bookworm finds the most delicious book food. It’s a place where I could get happily lost. That’s what happens when novels play a very big part in life. The spot where the love for books becomes the cynosure is expectedly a favorite. Quite a major chunk of my salary goes in buying books. And in Church Street, thereβs this second hand bookstore called Blossom which is my favorite spot. I visit it at least once a month, and come back with at least one new book. Itβs usually more, but one at the least. The last time I was there, I bought some Agatha Christie novels to add to my collection. Iβm having all but three of the Hercule Poirot novels now. Maybe I will complete the set when I visit the store next.

take me here when I visit Bangalore! π
Sure, Apala. π When are you coming? π
It is perfect mould for a lover of literature in you Vinay! Being surrounded with books shows the greatness of a writer! ‘A Prompt Each Day’ is a recent discovery to me and has been a most welcomed blog. Have responded with my poems for quite a no. of days in the recent past. I like it for your versatility of different types of prompt ie words, wordle, quotes etc. Have yet to try out one of your quotes. When you were writing as Leo before Hank had also done a few of your haiku prompts. But now it is more vibrant with the many types of prompt. Keep at it!
Hank
I’m thankful, Hank, that you are enjoying the prompts. π I try to read as much from each day as I can, of course. I’ve liked what I read. Thank you for the support as well.
It’s my favorite too Vinay π
Oh. It’s the favorite of many a book-loving Bangalorean I guess. π Thanks, Kokila.
I so totally am on the lookout for a place like that! π
Lucky Leo! π
Shift here. π You’ll find it then. π
