Three Slow Months…
A Trip Down Memory Lane – Mar/May/Jun 2014
It usually happens that when a month is expected to have a lot of posts, the months on either side become less prominent in my blogging journey. When I knew April held the promise of A to Z, March had less exuberance, and May petered out too. And June, well, it kind of took on the laziness from May I suppose. Few posts in these months, and from the few, I choose two, one for each, as memories of Blogging through 2014.
The post from March is a poem “The Recurring Dream”. It was about a dream, one that comes even these days; and a poem that I re-read to find a bit of hope when the days are dark and seemingly hopeless.
The post from May is a 77 word fiction “The Ending”. I wrote it for Blog-a-Ton, and it’s about childhood, when we only see the happy endings, only feel that a story ends with “happily ever after”. I loved writing it as much as, if not more than, my longer fiction stories.
June is slightly different. It is memorable because of small series I co-authored with Pixie. I don’t know why, but co-authored series seem to head the love story route, and this series, “Choices” headed that way too. Two at her blog, and one at mine, but I felt the story went just fine.
