Between a Writer’s Block
A Trip Down Memory Lane – Jan/Feb 2014
I’ve this tendency to go into writers’ block easily, which is odd, because I don’t believe in writers’ block at all. When I go into such a phase when words seem to stay away from my pen, it feels endless. It’s torturous and I end up being moody.
Looking back at 2014, the first two months seem to have gone by in such a phase. I wrote just 4 posts in two months, 3 in January, 1 in February. The post in Feb wasn’t one that I loved either. But I liked what I wrote in Jan. From the three, I’ve chosen two that are most memorable for me in my Blogging Journey 2014.
The first is a poem that I can say without a doubt is one of my favorites, one of my best. It’s titled “Footnote” and reflects the confused state of mind I was in. They say poems come out best in such a phase, and I’m happy that it came out.
The second is a story titled “Unlike any other”, one that just came with the flow. I like thinking differently, and this story I wrote to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and perfection isn’t necessary in love, it’s accepting the imperfections and still they’re perfect.

Well, writer’s blocks happen so often. I wish they didn’t though. I would love not to suffer them.

Well, I wish they didn’t too, Jb. 😛 But they do, and they will. It’s like the muse saying, “I want a break. Go away!” 😉
I hope the writers block is not up and removed…

I hope not too, Biks 🙂
