Day 007 / 100 Happy Days

Today, my colleague had brought her daughter to the office. Cute kid, very friendly. She’s met me maybe once, but when I called her to talk with me, she came and smiled and talked like she met me everyday. She didn’t worry, she let her mom do her office work and sat near my desk, coloring or drawing. She even went to my boss and asked if she could come tomorrow too. How wonderful it is to live without the worry of things going wrong, isn’t it? The happiness of childhood that can’t be matched by any other. Ah! Nostalgia!

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

    • It would be nice, yes πŸ™‚ but then, we’d miss out on all the friends we’d make as we grow up πŸ˜› So I’d be a kid around a kid, and not lose the inner child πŸ˜‰ That way, for some time, we’ll not have worries.
