The Quintet of Radiance

So the third award is actually a set of five awards in one. Shalini, of Tale of Two Tomatoes blog gave this award to me a while back. Glad that she finds me worthy of the set, that’s for sure.

So the awards works this way (or so she says! 😛 )

1. Display the award on the blogpost
2. Thank the blogger who linked you and link back to their post.
3. Describe yourself using the alphabet.
4. Pass the award to atleast a few bloggers.

Ok! Here goes the A to Z of me!

ADAMANT. But I do accept if my point is not valid.

BOOKWORM. Love to read, and there’s nothing more relaxing than reading a good book.

DOWN-TO-EARTH. At least, that’s what my friends tell me.

EAGER to try new things, especially forms of poetry. I’ve tried quite a few.

GROUP DISCUSSIONS are my Achilles heel in interviews.

HARRY POTTER is my favorite book series ever. Have read each book countless times.

IMPROMPTU writer. Especially when I do series fiction.

JOVIAL. I swear, being serious is something that’s beyond me.

LEO. It’s both my zodiac and my pen-name.

MANCHESTER UNITED. 16 years since I’ve been supporting them. No other team comes close for me! GGMU!

OBSERVANT. I tend to notice small things which others might usually miss.

SIMPLE. Be it in blog, or in taste. Not very extravagant.

VIVID in narrative style.

WORRY sometimes about silly things.

XEROX (almost) of my uncle.

YEARN to be published in print.

I tag Simran, Jaibala, Sreeja, Amity and Arv for this.

(22nd September 2014)

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.
