NaPoWriMo was first held in 2003. It is an annual project where participating poets write a poem each day of April. There are optional prompts given by the site for writing. You don’t need a blog for taking part. You just need to promise yourself that you will write a poem every day of April.
black coffee —
I sip the aroma
of your love
The prompt at NaPoWriMo asks us to describe one thing in terms of any three of the senses. I choose to describe the coffee in terms of sight (seeing it’s black), taste (sipping it) and smell (the scent/aroma), and also a metaphorical touch (of the person who made the coffee with love, like a mother or a lover).
(18th April 2014)
Coffee. For a coffee lover like me the perfect three lines 🙂
Thanks, Jb 🙂 Yeah, I too love coffee.
:O
you like black coffee?!
I always figured you were a filter coffee person! 😛
If given a choice, then I prefer black coffee of course, but can’t make demands at office na, Pixie. 😛
