Once upon a dream..

Once upon a dream –
I saw myself exactly
as I am this day

November PAD Challenge Day 16. #novpad16

The month of November sees the Poem-a-Day (PAD) challenge, hosted by Robert Lee Brewer at Poetic Asides. Day 16 theme is to fill the blank in the phrase “Once upon a _____” and then use that as title of the poem being written. It’s in the Senryu form. Thanks Robert for the inspiration.
Rally #56

Poet’s Rally hosted by Ava once a fortnight is a place for poets to join in and have fun sharing and reading poetry. It goes into its 56th edition today.

Poetry & writing to me are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  9. Leo ! I had a question in mind. The graffiti on your wall popped up into my mind : I love in words!SO I thought I must put this question before you. Here's the exact thought :Words trapped within become like prisoners rattling the cage bars to get out. How come they sometimes hurt so. What is the force of words unwritten that drives the sleepless nights?Have you found any wisdom about this drive, this instinct to express, that pierces the night?
