Desperately holding on to life; yet
deliriously desirous to welcome Him.
Death, He comes in my nightmares,
daunting with His double rope noose.
Dampened seem life without love,
dragging on, just breathing each day.
Dead I feel, but tell me; is this life?
deliriously desirous to welcome Him.
Death, He comes in my nightmares,
daunting with His double rope noose.
Dampened seem life without love,
dragging on, just breathing each day.
Dead I feel, but tell me; is this life?

November PAD Challenge Day 14. #novpad14 |
The month of November sees the Poem-a-Day (PAD) challenge, hosted by Robert Lee Brewer at Poetic Asides. Day 14 theme is to write a deadly poem. I wrote on being dead when alive. It’s in the Pleiades form. Thanks Robert for the inspiration.
