The thing about spiders is their persistence. Is that the thing about you too?
a beautiful take on the topic 😀
Yeah, I'm quite patient and persistent like a spider, MMT 🙂 🙂 but I wait patiently for another fly if one goes out of my grasp, rather than fuss over the lost one 🙂 Glad you liked it.
Thank you, Raji 😀
Yeah, Totomai 🙂 It can be. I'm glad you felt that, and liked the haiku. Thanks!

Thank you and glad you felt so, Charles! 🙂 I'll drop by the poem on my hop for sure 🙂
Sigh? what happened, Sunakshi?
Yes indeed, Eclipse! Thanks! 🙂
I think that spiders are patient and seem to represent the fragility of the world, slowly weaving something so thin a translucent that raindrops are caught in it. There is a tenderness about their task that is little appreciated. Very nice haiku for this little Charlotte.Noelle
OK now it's my turn to ask how many blogs do you have? LOL. I love the title of this and and the last line is wonderful! BTW how did you get the Segoe script font for your blog? let me know K?
hey!! lovely to see you on blogspot!!fantastic poem btw. loved the image and the word flow as well!! 🙂 🙂
Beautiful interpretations by all, including this one…..mmmmm….not easy!
Thank you, Knot2Share 🙂 I'm glad you found it beautiful 🙂
Good to be back on Blogspot too, Kirti! Thank you and I'm very glad you liked it 🙂
Oh! 😀 I have just the two, Amanda 😉 This one, I had b4 I shifted to WordPress bcoz of a technical error. Its where I started out blogging. 🙂 And regards the font, I just embedded it in my template code.
No other creature but the spider seems to have that much patience I think, Noelle! Thanks!
Each word is carefully crafted like the silk of the spider, so small but so strong.
The pic gives me the creeps, but I love your poem
A tremendous haiku to go with a great picture.
Thanks & glad you felt so, Anna 🙂
A spider can give the creeeps. Its ok I think 😉 Glad you liked the poem, Ina.
Thank you, Mike 🙂
Beautiful.
Thanks, Clark 🙂
Spiders never tire, relentlessly weaving their webs and of course their patience is worth noting!!
This is a lovely haiku and image. Yesterday I had to practise breathing in deep on a very crowded, noisy train that came to a stand still whilst I was getting a feeling of being hemmed in! This is what came to mind – practising patience.
lovely………patience and perseverance:)
perseverance toward peace… 😉
A nice message, encouraging to persevere. Thank you, Leo.
Nice haiku. Patience pays off :)!
ACK! Spider! Great message, disturbing picture 🙂 Well done…
Another great use of prompt word. Loved it.Melanie

Thanks, Elaine. Glad you liked.
Amen to that, Robin
Thanks, Raja.
Oh, that patience is already acquired by me a while back itself, Susan. It still is easy to reach the limits of that patience though.! Glad you liked the haiku & image.
Worth noting and maybe even emulating if possible, I think. Thanks Nanka!
hi, Vinay / Leo. I have a different interpretation here, I thought it is about the feeling of "the spider victim " : being trapped by the web. you know: you must walk very patiently to release yourself, since you'll never know when you'll be free. Anyway, great haiku! Btw, sorry for double comments, if any. Happy rally.
stunning…
Incredible words with incredible picture!
You are always fabulous with words. :)I am here ~ http://puplumages.wordpress.com/2011/08/30/whispers-of-the-soul/
This is interesting. I see many people associate it with the spider, but my opinions is somewhat similar to Eclipse. I see it from spider victim's point of view. To gain freedom, even though we're trapped in spider web. Thanks for sharing, happy rally. ^^dhitz of dhitermination.wordpress.com
Nice one! I like the sound of that.Cheers!
Nicely done. Many things these words may apply to.
a deep philosophy conveyed through such a few expression … so well done.
Patience will never stop trying:PI loved the crisp delivery and definitely the spider photo:)Always wondering how you manage to shape your thoughts with duplicate meaning in a flow.Amazing!
Duplicate meaning? 🙂 I don't know.. just, a hidden meaning is there I guess. Thank you, Clariice
Thanks, Baishali.
Yes, quite a few, Ankoku. Thanks..!
Thank you, Emmanuel. 🙂
It is possible to see it from both angles I think.. 🙂 I'm glad yu liked it & happy Rally to you too.
Thanks, Purvi. 🙂
Thank you, Susanne 🙂
Glad you liked it, Kitty.
Your haiku is beautiful . . . Of all the poets that I read, you absolutely amaze me the most. It's wonderful that your readers search between the lines of your work. You've gained their respect as a writer. Blessings.
Thank you, Kay. I'm glad you feel my work to be amazing! and for the respect I've gained from them and from you..
Great write! The strangest thing was that I must be going on a dark vibe – I had Vincent Price in my head narrating the words!
LOL 🙂 Thank you, Thomas. Glad you liked the write..
It is possible to see it from both angles I think. Glad you liked the haiku, Dhitz. No probs for the double comment.. Thank you for the visits 🙂
i can say spider is one of the perfect example for patience…very well written 🙂
Thanks, Sowmya! 🙂
nice, but its to difficult to be patient..
Yes it is, but its worth it, Ruchi 🙂
