The House…

“Keith, is it haunted?”

“Of course not, Lisa… that’s just an old wives tale.”

“But what of the poor souls who lived there? Murdered in their sleep… I hear the screams sometimes.”

“Let’s prove it. We’ll sleep there tonight.”

Lisa woke up under the morning sky, alone, naked.

Keith had disappeared.

So had the house…

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

    • LOL 😀 Cool, no problem, Daydreamer. Good to have read the poem of yours anyways! 😉

Lisa and Keith wouldn’t want it either, but it disappeared with one of them unfortunately 😉 😆

    • Hey, The Fool 🙂 Glad you liked it. And yes, I will check it out now and give a shout out! Have fun trying the 55 fiction form 🙂

  1. Oh, ho! This is VERY interesting! It sounds like some of my stories for Saturday Centus! Keep the readers guessing–that’s the ticket!

Thanks for your comment on my post!

    • Hi Judie 🙂 Glad you found it interesting! I wanted to do it for Centus actually. Maybe expand a little 😀 But dropped by to see just 25 words as the limit this time 😛 So shifted Centus on a haiku this time. Welcome for the comment, I reeally liked yours as well. Got me wanting a return to school days!

  2. Inte-resting! And inte-restingly said. Some spooky night it must have been. You should do more of these… horror seems quite your genre. 😉
