Soul Words..

My thoughts I forget
But my heart is set
I just want to write tonight
To let my muse fly
Beneath the night sky
In the shimmer of starlight

The world it can see
And share it with me
I will bring forth its travels
Set free now, my mind
To my muse, be kind
Let me write, as soul unravels

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. I wish to write
I wish to let my muse fly
But for every attempt and try
My inspiration isn’t enough to fly me high!

Loved these verses…could relate so much, am dying to write but blogger has dampened my spirit when I posted a new poem and it was not updating in other’s blog list! Even in my own blog list, so nobody read it… 🙁

  2. Dear Vinu,
    Good Morning!
When the heart is set,the words just flow.
Good words and a thoughtful post.
Between,my friend across the seas asked about you today whether you read my Malayalam posts.
I did not reply,”He stopped even English;then forget Malayalam”.
    Politely I replied..”he is a busy body!”
    Have a wonderful day ahead,
    Sasneham,
    Anu

    • @ Anupama,

Thanks and glad you liked the post 🙂
Please tell your friend from across the sea that I’m not that adept with reading Malayalam, so I can’t even if I find the time 🙂 You were right, I’ve been quite busy, that I’ve not been able to blog hop properly. Just replying to comments and returning them.

  3. May your muse see the most beautiful things…and may you translate them into lovely words here, for us to experience.. 🙂

    • @ SiS,

Just being Leo doesn’t help appease the muse either 🙂 Need some thing to write, and need the words to flow. If not, I’m no writer for that moment.

  4. wow!! great feel of writing….i wonder how u write 14 to 56 poems per month :-O

    u r a good poet i can say… 🙂

    • Thanks, Sowmya 😀 I wonder that too, how I write such a lot. 56 is very rare, not to worry 😉 Glad you liked it, and thanks very much for reading!
