Autumn

She dances with the wind, his grin sly as he tickles her skin;
His fingers search, her clothes fall in a jumble near her feet,
Autumn smiles, her naked branches swaying in deep pleasure.

Poetry & writing to me are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

      Glad you found it beautiful 🙂 I’ve visited. Sorry for the due, I’ve been occupied elsewhere. Have been only able to return comments, not hop on my own 🙁

  2. will make me smirk all autumn when i see bare trees:P (I’ve always felt a lil sad for them but you’ve given me a whole new way to look at it.)

    on a more serious note there is life and motion in these lines.

    beautiful.

    • @ Flawed,

      Thanks! I do find trees like that too at times, but then again, beauty is in the eyes of the admirer I guess.. 🙂
