Silence – RC#73

Sometimes, I feel nearer, through silence.

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Hello – stopping by from the Six Word Saturday hop. I really enjoy your site! I’ve been thinking of trying haiku – first I have to get over being a perfectionist about it! I’m off to keep reading!

    • @ Kerri,

Welcome to my blog and glad you enjoyed it. Do try it sometime 🙂 Haikus are fascinating to me.

  2. Silence in conversation or music can be like negative space in art, and emphasize the importance of what is heard when the silence in broken.

    Cheers!

    • @ JzB,

Yes, very much. The storm after a lull can either be calming, or disturbing, depends on the understanding of the lull I think 🙂

    • @ Kylie,

Yes, it can say a lot more, but easily misunderstood as well. Its one of the perks of silence perhaps 🙂

    • @ Deboshree,

Haha! 😀 Don’t know if it is silent, but yep. A new one, hopefully long lasting one; I love green anyways.

I don’t pine for it, I give it out a lot at times 😉

  3. Emotions through silence are plenty…
..And this is definitely one of them!
