Some scars never heal
Addicted to fallen dreams
Hopes burn quick in ire

Shared at Haiku Heights & Haiku My Heart

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Leo – the depth of your 17 syllables is sublime!! Amazingly true as well – why do we allow ourselves to hold on to those?

    Thank you for sharing!!

    • @ Becca,

I really do not know, but its something a lot of us can relate to. Perhaps one of those unanswerable questions? Glad you read, and found it good 🙂

    • @ Prema,

Yes, the scars of the heart are always painful and powerful, so the words written from those scars would feel textured for sure! Glad you liked and found it sublime! 🙂
