Pristine moon
Guides eager fingers
Numbs senses
Fuels desire
Fragrant in erotic lust
Warm to icy touch
Stillness entices passion
Desire opens lips
Exploration in hunger
Smoldered love
Naked night
Envy of mornings
Empty sheets
The form of poetry here is the Shadorma. Having its roots in Spain, this sestet (6 line verse) follows a syllabic pattern of 3-5-3-3-7-5. I’ve been one to experiment with any form, so here I have combined a shadorma and the reverse of a shadorma (5-7-3-3-5-3) using another 7 syllable line.

Thanks for the recognition. I accept it along with this entry and also nominate Paulami for the Perfect Poet award for the coming week.
