Glib

A glib fib
Fills
An empty space

A crevice
Truth
Should have taken

Chance now gone
Tongue
Glib no longer

The form of poetry here is a Pi-ku. A Pi-ku is a fun form of poetry similar to a haiku, where the three lines have 3-1-4 syllabic format; like an ode to the mathematical constant Pi, value of which is 3.14 (approximately).

Written as part of the April A to Z in 26 Days challenge, and 30 poems in 30 days, NaPoWriMo challenge.

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.
