Storm

Storm approaches

Its cold clutches
Threaten to wrench
Warmth of hearts
Keeping me sane
Turn monochrome
Palette of colors
In each emotions
Etch in me, panic
So without thought
I run away – into a
Pale white casket
A grave ready to
Welcome me with
Icy breath of fire
Embrace evening
In dawn of my life

Storm approaches

Direction if known
Perhaps I can try
To evade its hands
If it captures mind
Destiny will betray
And caught in fate
Accept death, and
Forget my dreams
Once had existed

Storm approaches

I search – a shelter
I seek – a warning
I yearn – an escape
For my decisions
Deserve a destiny
A feeling of warmth
In accomplishment
Than an icy breath
Of forgotten dreams

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.
