Summer's Misery

Heat begins to die
End to summer’s misery
Arrives at long last

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Leo, I think the heat is at its maximum here in May. Its only in June with the first showers that Summer’s misery is washed away! I thnk our Bombayites will veto that..:D Anyways should visit you in May when ur end has already begun to cool and the hols are still on!!! 😀

    • Vibby, am talking about the end of May… not the entire May. The drizzles begin after 20th here, so its the start to washing away Summer’s misery 😉 and don’t use that word “veto” please.

  2. Yeah Leo in your region, you start your monsoon’s at least 15 days earlier, but we are still a melting pot till mid-June 🙂 hoping and praying that our miseries may end (pun intended in the last two words) 😀
I believe those showers are very important for the farmers and for the coffee plantations. No “veto” and agree with Vibzzz that we must be there to welcome the rains 😀
