This is a delicious haiku Leo…bon appetite!
bon appetite, Write Girl ๐
I have read that the true test of good haiku is if the last and first lines can be transposed. Well, your haiku would work just as excellently if it read:
A delicacy –
largest of flatfish; truly
no stranger to chefs
So I doff my hat in awe at your superior skill….
thanks Catherine ๐ glad you liked the transposed and the original versions ๐
