Travel past places
Where memories
Near to my mind
Dear to thoughts
Were first created
Emotions raining
On mind, unable
To choose single
Memory to etch
For the moment
I’m caught again
In a quandary of
Feelings, where
Voices from time
Echo in my mind
Reminisce about
The many smiles
A longing arrives
For that moment
Live it once more
No reason, logic
Yet it glows, like
Some sudden idea
A desire restores
Like little pearls
In my heartshore

Fantastic write, and it takes me back to those days when, just once in a blue moon, I’ll go to where I once went and see whether any of the memories still hold me in their clutches as they had once. By the way, I enjoyed the interview on the dispatch and hope that one day I’ll see your goals attained on the wall display at Chapters!

It is wonderful to read a new word that is so brilliant that you just hope that it gets used over and over again and finds it’s way into a dictionary. That word “heartshore” clearly impressed many in this memorable post.
that word is given by my sister, Old Egg.. so not taking credits for that 😉 but yeah.. it’d be nice if it finds its way into a dictionary..
