The Z-A in 26 Days, is quite simply a writing challenge. It is the first time I’m hosting such a challenge, and the second time I’m taking part in one.
In November 2010, if you exclude the Sundays, there are 26 days left. So I’m throwing out this challenge to myself, and to any blogger who wants to try: Write 26 posts in those 26 days, each day with a different letter of the alphabet going in reverse order. So that would mean the post on November 1st would have a theme based on the letter Z, the one on November 2nd would have a theme based on the letter Y and so on, till on November 30th, the post would have a theme based on the letter A.
Write it in your blog, and share the link in the comment section of my post that day for the challenge, here at I Rhyme Without Reason blog: http://artofleo.wordpress.com . In your post, you can include a link back to the blog, so that your readers if interested in the challenge can also take part. This is the badge for the Challenge, which you can find on my blog sidebar as well.
The challenge is to write 26 posts in the 26 days, so please do not share the link of your old posts that fit the theme. You are free to do as much as you can in November, and also to combine the challenge with any other meme that you might be writing for. More than one post per letter is also welcome. There is no limitation to the genre, and you can choose any form you want. I’ll come by each of the posts at the challenge and leave a comment for sure, and if I find it to be a malicious post or hurting someone in any way, I’ll remove the link from the comments section. The Z-A challenge is not a platform for attacking others through words, but an outlet for your talented write ups.
If you need any clarification, you can give a comment with your blog link, and I’ll get back to you there.
We’ve challenged you… now are you challenging yourself? Can you do Z to A in 26 days? Hoping to see you there…
Now, the pre-party to this month long challenge happens on Halloween, and it is the Ghoul’s Gala. The Ghoul’s Gala, like the Z to A challenge is also a no genre limitation party, the theme of which is Halloween. Share in your post what you are doing on Halloween, what costume you are wearing, what treats you are giving out or is it a trick? Share that post link in the comment box of the party post on Sunday, join our party, and we’ll come trick or treat-ing to yours. Wishing you a Happy Halloween and an inspired November…
