Tired heart needs shelter
Revival of hope in life
Restrained by self doubt
Where lies my oasis now?
Onward I battle
Optimistic of success
Dismissing failures
Is belief my oasis?
With oliphant will
I fight; onerous thoughts lift
I can breathe again

Oliphant means “Great strength”
I would call this a systematic analysis and self criticism.too.
But love the optimism here. So onward battle for greater successes 🙂
thanks Nanka 😀 glad you liked the optimism 🙂
Lovely words, Leo, and great Os for the O Day! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

Always nice to have you read me too, Blaga 😀 glad you liked it.
Aww….this poem speaks to me as if it is your life and that brought a big wet tear to the corner of my eye. So I couldn’t read through that corner and had to use my full eye. 😉
So then I saw that it’s just another wonderful poem by Leo in true Leo style..!!! 😀 Loved it!!! 😀
I’d no idea about a Leo style, Rumz 😉 glad you loved it..
Nice poem, although I had to look up ‘oliphant’ actually, I had to google it, because none of my dictionaries had the word in it. Not sure I understand it yet. Maybe you can explain it to me. I have a small mind. hehe
Oliphant means “strong” or “great strength”, Ann 🙂 glad you liked the poem..
