Lone heart on tree,
Sign of true love; or is it
Blemish to beauty?

For One Single Impression – #137 – Lonely
For Haiku Heights – #12 – Blemish

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Oh, this is so well put Leo..you made me speechless.. thanks..and yes, you guided me on writing Haikus..do visit my post and let me know if I am keeping your confidence.. thanks!

  2. Oh, teeners would ‘just wanna have fun’ caricaturing or etching their true love on trees… 🙂

Reminds me of high school days, my classmate got a scolding because on a tree trunk he wrote “I Love You Ma’am Duck”! 😛 to a teacher who walks like a duck… 😛 😀

You know what will happen next? 😛

  3. Have seen many young delinquents who desecrate public properties
and hope this Haiku spreads as a message to a larger section.
It really is a disgusting habit and thanks on highlighting on this topic.
