Wanderer (Haiku My Heart)

For Recuerda mi Corazon – Haiku My Heart

Poetry & writing to me are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Such simplistic words but it sure has a complex message as well as the simple truth that when the wind blows in our lives, we get carried away and end up alone trying to find our way.

  2. We can all learn so many lessons, teaching and examples from nature as your haiku so aptly tells us. The leaves are but one of the miracles. Very nice.

    Peace.

  3. So very true..Leo and most of us do it.. some out of choice.. some out of need and compulsion.. it touched me deep inside somewhere.. oh, I am feeling like the leaf..

  4. It has a double meaning…or am I imagining it? It can also apply to a vagabond like person who gets drawn far away from home owing to wander lust…and now his life is just as scattered as the autumn leaves are.
Oh well….whatever it is…this haiku has a beautiful meaning. There are several haiku poems I come across which really do not mean anything clear..this one was different from that.
Anyway this is an earnest request for a vote if you read and like my ‘Share Life’ contest entry…please do cast a vote if you find it worthy enough. It turns out many not-so-good posts(IMO) are moving ahead on account of votes. Please help me if you can….by atleast reading it.

    Thanks! 🙂
And please do not vote for posts you do not like. Help judge a contest fairly.

    • Hi Sammy, you’re right.. it does have a double meaning in the context you’ve told there! 🙂 glad you could see it, and glad you liked the haiku..! 🙂

I will read your contest entry and promote if I like.. yeah, sometimes that happens in competitions.. will drop by it soon..! 😀

  5. It could not be any better.. You have a very different way of presenting words and images both.. Loved it for it’s simplicity and yet the beauty of it speaks a thousand emotions.. 😀

  6. the heart is a lonely hunter.
there is a feeling of melancholy in this wandering.
beautiful capture of human emotion in the simply act of falling leaves.
    thanks for being here.
