My life, dull
Starts to get
Colorful now
As his hands
Trace curves
Eyes close
In adoration
Of a silence
That fills me
As his colors
Fill my soul
Entering me
He’s happy
As his eyes
Wander, his
Touch soft
Making me
Blush again
Moving out
He looks at
Me, delight
In his eyes
Leans back
And admires
Finally done
He signs off
With a kiss
Final stroke
Of his brush
I’m complete
His exquisite
Masterpiece
Versed for: Theme Thursday – Brush
Image of painting taken from HERE. Original oil painting of this was done by Raja Ravi Varma, one of the world’s most famous Indian painters.
The picture literally comes to life and we can hear her talk. The beautiful words written by you complement the picture very well. Even can picture the artist in these lines…
“He signs off
With a kiss
Final stroke
Of his brush”
And the last lines complement the look in her eyes…
