I lay so barren
No one to care
For my soul
An empty mind
With no life
A virgin beauty
Giving birth to
Unseen hearts
I wait for love
From the hands
I hold lovingly
From those lips
Nourished daily
By my bosom
Endless a wait
For those hands
Rip my modesty
Stab my babies
Bare my heart
Without regret
Not an ear listens
To my silent plea
They continue
To ravish my soul
As each day ends
Melancholy holds
Heart in chains
Intuition senses
A return to past
Beginning beckons
As the final end
Written for One Single Impression

Beautiful description of Mother Earth’s plight…
Sad to see the ‘Virgin Beauty’ of Mother Earth ravished by mindless people…
If conservation is not taken seriously…the end is surely just around the corner…
Great Poem!! 😀 Thought Provoking and action to be taken immediately!!
yeah Rumz, very sad to see that indeed..!
Mother Earth’s Pain Is Very Well Described. Inspite of stressing on the point of Conservation, there are Zer0’s Eyes, or very few ppl to dedicate to lend their hands for conservation. Excellent beautiful Write up Leo 🙂 🙂 Fantastic Fabulous Write Up!!!!!!!!!!!
This Poem Also Says, How The Society Is Dealing With The Phrase conservation ????? Tomorrow is Independence Day & Lets All Join For The Slogan, Protect Mother Earth, & Lend complete Support To Preserve Conservation.
Mother Earth Should be Freed From All Her Pains & Sufferings 🙂 🙂
Very Happy To Read Such A Marvelous Post Leo 🙂 🙂 Leo, You Rock!!!!!!!!!!
thanks Creativity.. glad u liked it.. yeah, she is having a lot of pain, and not all can rise up from it..!
Nature’s unending plea to save her modesty which is being exploited by unscrupulous people is beautifully portrayed in this poem and a befitting picture too…
The picture itself tells her endless woes… 🙂
yeah.. the picture itself does tell her woes.. so true Nanka..!
Wonderfully expressed! The pain of Mother Earth has been conveyed through perfect choice of words. The poem is very beautiful.
As you know, I am not much of a nature lover but this post of yours has seriously got me thinking 😉 Very well done Leo!! 🙂
u live in nature, so one has to love it too I think, but not all do, do they Jaspreet? 🙂 her pain can’t be conveyed by any poet that easily.. I just tried 🙂
A wonderfully told story of a hard life. Then back to the beginning at the very end. 🙂 What a waste but for the last few breathes.
..
Mother Earth does have a hard life Jim.. 🙂 she bears us all and some of us in greed and without any conscience tears her apart..! waste indeed…
And thank you for the nice prompt. It was a fun job. I only wish I had more time to try writing something niceer. 🙂
..
it wasn’t my suggestion, Jim.. was given by Just Some Words, who is my sister.
on her absence from blogging, I just gave her poem thats all 🙂
This is a sad tale of mother’s earth existence…I dunno if we can have a second chance of having a new mother earth…
You’ve served it well Leo…:) Kudos!!!

“Not an ear listens
To my silent plea
They continue
To ravish my soul”

regards the shift, it was kind of forced on.. if I was still at Blogspot, I’d definitely have used the Disqus I think..! but for now.. WordPress is where I’m at 😀
Rip my modesty

This is truly someone we may want to take note…and the Earth is changing already if you do realize, and there is always campaign of saving the Earth and tress, but I seldom see them doing that nowadays already :<
yes.. it has come down now, the protests and what not..
the realization is there, but action for it is very less..
Thanks Riika..
