The ABC Wednesday Train today arrives at its 4th Stop with the letter D, and my D is for Destiny.
Can red rose know its destiny?
If itβs going to be in fields
Or plucked by hand
Without mercy?
As it blossoms slow
As its closed petals open
The bloom embraces its life
Without expectations of itself
It dreams of that elusive bouquet
With more of its own kind nearby
To be a token of beautiful love
In the garden with the sun
Our life is much similar
We dream of future
Chasing destiny
Thatβs mostly unknown

chasing destiny ALMOST OVERGROWN…NICE. LOVE HOW YOU SHAPED THE POEM MAKING THE VASE. STELLAR TOUCH. very creative…nicely played oneshot!
the shaping was the difficult part, the verse came on its own, Brian π glad u liked it, stellar or not π glad the one shot made a goal π
a very well worked poem, creating the vase with the verse..can a red rose know its destiny, can any of us know our destiny? deep questions..well written..cheers Pete
hi Pete, thank you.. the questions are deep, but are the answers? π glad u liked both vase & verse π
Very nice!
thanks Martha π
we dream of future, chasing destiny…sometimes good we don’t know what happens tomorrow…love how you shaped a vase with your words for the rose – really nice
hi Claudia, many thanks..! π i sort of found the vase first and the rosee later actually π glad u liked both verse and vase! yes, dreams are chasing destiny of sorts and its good too that its unknown.. makes the curiosity more..!
WOW, stunning both visually and poetically…. “The bloom embraces its life / Without expectations of itself” great lines and the vase looks really cool. thanks for sharing it with One Shot Poetry today!
cheers
Hi Adam, welcome to my blog.. glad you liked the poem, visually as well π it was a pleasure sharing it with OSP, and thank u for hosting it this week..!
your rain poem was wonderful.. made me nostalgic..!
beautiful flower and poem both are secure in beautiful vase of words.excellent work
Hi Dr.Pratibha, glad u liked both shape and words π welcome here & thanks for promoting it on Indi π
great imagery !!!!
thank you Nimue π
Clever shape incorporation there.
thank you Eric π glad u liked it..
This is so wonderful. Between the vase of words (how do you DO that? incredible!) and the rose-as-person, hoping for the best, it’s just exquisite.
π thanks very much for that π glad u liked the vase and verse.. welcome to my blog, Pattiken..!
The universal symbol/the rose. The cosmos in spiral opening/the atomic structure turning electrons in constant motion in the shape of the rose/=ing love, kingdom, savior. Here you shape words into the vessel that holds the symbol again where fate meets destiny. Beautiful poem! Thank you.
Thank you very much for stopping by and reading my work, Cannon π and for the lovely comment as well!
Though, I did find it Difficult to Decipher that Delightful comment a little..! π
You captured the unknown destiny so well. I wish we could all bloom as happily as the rose, unaware of its fate.
I wish we could too, but unlike for the rose, our curiosity sometimes makes us wither π
thanks you very much, Talon..!
Such a BEAUTIFUL analogy!!! Loved it!! The picture of the rose is really lovely!
This was such a poignant and insightful read…awesome!!! Totally loved the visual of the vase and rose peeking out of it π
A first class One Shot!
Can I point you to something I had written some time back ? Well, here it is.. π Lemme know what you think of it! Won’t say anything more for now π You will soon see why.. teeheehee
Ah, another vase from you too I see, Kavita.. glad you liked my analogy.. the picture sort of fit into the post by itself π
PS: Thanks for the blogrolling at your place..!
What a lovely visual poem! And love the rose as well!
thank you Bev π glad u loved it..!
Excellent concrete poem!!
thanks very much, Tumblewords π

Smiles from the Moon
hi Moondustwriter, thank u very much. glad u liked this and it was a pleasure to share with OSW..! π
I have no words to describe Leo..
Yours Frendly,
Someone Is Special
you don’t have to describe me Saravana π u can describe my poem maybe π
A beautiful life analogy. We all aspire to be “plucked” and arranged into something beautiful with more of our kind nearby! For it’s only by being part of something bigger than ourselves can our real beauty shine through. (Pretty deep for a Friday comment, huh?!)
thank u Lisa π yeah.. we all aspire to be arranged into something beautiful.. and no, depth is always welcome π
glad u liked the post.. π
Wow! I was completely mesmerized by the vase-shaped poetic words you wove.
thanks Cheryl, glad you liked the vase verse..! π
My My I adore this shape of the verse ..
Last lines sum it all.. beautiful poem Leo. Welcome to WP and may you have many many more creative years .
