You may have an impression of yourself, but trying to impress that on a friend is not right. For its your impression, not theirs. Let them have their impression of you; who knows, that impression maybe truer than what you have of yourself. For no mirror is better than the eyes of a true friend.

Very interesting words, I dread to think what impressions others have of me,Yvonne.
Oh, true……I need that one true friend who could tell me her right impression about me…Another worthy thoughts etched through your Reality Check…:)
I know, Its an old saying…and its good to have such friends, where silence is most comfortable, And impressions are what you make of yourself…but I think neither the mirror, nor the best of friends know "what" you are….And nobody will ever know — When seen in totality, I myself am not clear of the mix I am made of :)Good poems here, Vinay…Long time, but I am reading regularly :)wishes, devika

@Amity,hmm!
@Devika,hi chechy 😀 long time indeed.. yes, we understand ourselves best..but i think if we need to reflect, our eyes look better in the eyes of a loved one than a mirror! 🙂
