A Zest To Win

Another day
Beckons me
Calls my name
Desire dances
Feels mundane

Glances seen
Hearts so near
Illusions how
Just not sure
Kisses do seem
Loveless now

Must I dream?
Nothing else
Order you do
Pains and fears
Quashed hopes
Remind of you

Strong I stay
Tested by life
Under a siege
Vivid my color
Wavers still
Xenial to love

You won’t win
Zeal I’ve within

Form: ABC Poem/A to Z Acrostic

Poetry & writing are to me, a breath of fresh air in a life that is sometimes covered by the smoke of sorrow or self doubt. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. But most of all, they are to me, my life. For each word I write is a piece of my heart, a thought that just had to find its way into the world.

  1. Another Nice one on similar lines as the previous!!! :)Just a suggestion. I'm not some expert. But try not to repeat K-Kiss and X-Xenial…It sort of becomes monotonous.

  2. You have used up all the letters (A-Z) anything left for me to comment ? 😉 ..Its wonderful …I am wondering how you came up with two poems ..with 26 letters ??? Both are good ! no , excellent ! 🙂
